FAQ

What is Arcade Publishing?

  • Arcade Publishing has been an imprint of Skyhorse Publishing since 2010 but was first established in 1988. We are committed to publishing high-quality literary works and maintaining a diverse catalog ranging from Justine Barron’s “They Killed Freddie Gray: The Anatomy of a Police Brutality Cover-Up” to the satirical novels of Bruce Wagner.

What types of books does Arcade Publishing specialize in?

  • Arcade Publishing specializes in a wide range of genres, including literary fiction, non-fiction (such as memoirs, biographies, and essays), historical fiction, mysteries, classics, thrillers and translations of international literature.

What sets it apart from other publishers?

  • Like the rest of Skyhorse, we consistently publish works from otherwise silenced voices and champion the ideal of freedom of speech. We stand firmly against book censorship, a practice that has been and remains all too common. As always, Arcade chooses to focus on literary fiction and prides itself on finding and promoting new and upcoming authors.
